LMC No 2 and No 17 retried

Hi Folks,
Well I believe my ole gray cell went and got itself in a pickle, thought I would try these two challenges again but got in a right state with them.
I have used backing papers free in a magazine, colours are green, yellow and gold. Also I have used a dark bling card stock as well as a cream card stock, embellishments and two new images from Lili of the Valley. The card with the stocking image I am not very happy about and so may re try the challenge at a later date but the other card is quite sweet I think. I do hope you like them and until next time do take care and happy crafting, lol

Wow Kreativ blogger Award

Oh Wow Folks,

I have just received this award from Little Bo, a very dear and talent crafting friend of my, thank you so very much I really do appreciate this.

Well let me see now the award rules, oh now I had to rack my brain with these as follows,

1 Thank person who has nominated you.

2. Copy the Logo and put on your blog.

3 Link your blog back to the person who gave you the award.

4 Tell everyone 7 things about yourself. (HELP!)

5 Nominate seven bloggers.

6 Leave comments on all seven blogs.

Well I have thought about this for quite a while, had more problems with the seven things about me but here goes.

1 After 2o odd years of office work I am a rather tame Gothic (not that you would notice these days) - with a nutty sense of humour, I love Animal, Taz, Zippy, Crazy Frog and of course Achmed the Dead Terrorist (I am just totally loony)

2 I have gone from really long hair to hardly any (no 1 on the clippers) and back again and so on. Dyed it from fair haired to blond on to PillowBox Red to black to normal (Oh and 1 day it was Green, not want you are thinking, green spray dye thank you very much)

3 I am passionate about music, love punk, rock, classic, opera, glam, C&W, Hip Hop you name it I love it just can not stand certain groups/bands such as spice (XXXXX) Girls etc or S Club 7, yuck. Mind you I have followed one singer since about the age of 10 years old and have been very lucky to see him live 3 times (Midge Ure - my OH will tell you I am and have aways been bonkers about him.

4 I love horror films & books but read just about anything including M&B as was brought up to read all books (Bookworm here). There are just the odd books I will not read, one writer I have tried to read and it was such drivel I did not finish it but put it in the bin(best place for it really), I know I should not speech ill of the dead but honestly all I can say is the pink powder puff lady and I would rather watch paint dry.

5 I have never been one for fashion, do my own thing even if its crazy.

6 I love history like the Sphinx, Aztec, Castles etc

7 In the last 3 years have become hooked on crafting but especially enjoy the companionship and friendship of all those lovely crafters. So here's to you folks who keep me trying, lol

And finally to those lovely nominees who inspire me

1 Ruth (A Passion for Cards/Stamps)

2 Back to you Little Bo

3 Crazy Crafters

4 Fluffs Creations

5 Fiona J cards & more

6 Eisbarentraume

7 Nanaseaside

LMC No 68

Well Hello Again,

Here is my next instalment. I know I hear you groaning another Christmas card, but I still have plenty of them to do I am afraid.

I have used white card stock to make a square card, Red card stock, 2 Xmas backing papers of baubles free in a magazine, biege card stock to match backing papers, various buttons and gemstones, cuttlebug embossing folder swiss dots, sentiments and Daisy and Dandelion Rubber Stamp Xmas Tree.

The only problem is that the image was a little bit big for the whole card so looks a little cramped, but I love the image so much that I could not change it for the anything else and thought it went well with the bauble papers.

I hope you like this one and I will be back very shortly with the last instalment for today, lol

LMC No 67

Well Good Day to You All,

Yes, here I am again, back fresh from my hols and off to a flying start. This is the first of three blog entries, obviously refreshed I here you say, most definitely needed that break. Did not do half as much as I had planned, but thats what holidays are for, to relax and enjoy yourself. Well I did including eating way too much fudge, but ohhh yummy fudge or chocolate or cream or cakes, maybe all, surprising I am really large for all that gorgeous but naughty goodies, hehehe! Mind you I will be honest I did try something new, no not food even though I can understand why you might have thought that. Well I had my eyebrows threaded, tried to pluck them myself but it hurt (what a coward I know) but this threading idea is much quicker and not as painful I found and was rather surprised by the overall effect of having it done. Yes I would have it done again especially by this lovely lady who was very careful knowing I was rather nervous.

Well now down to business, first instalment is of course catching up with just over 2 weeks off. And my first is LMC No 67 challenge, I have used white card stock to make a square card Red Bling Card Stock, 2 Xmas Backing Papers, 1 Green Card Stock, 1 Anitas Sentiments Xmas Ribbon in Green and gold, various buttons and gemstones, Spellbinders Scalloped Shapes, Forever Friends Rubber Stamp with Robin coloured with water colour pencils and sentiments.

I do hope you like this one, it has come out for real a little bit darker than I had planned, but I still rather like it, such a sweet image. Oh well here goes, will be back in a few seconds with the second instalment, lol
