Busy Busy Busy

Hi Folks,

Sorry to say I have nothing to show you as I have been busy what with my washing machine breaking down on me at the Easter weekend and now have to what until Monday for it to be fixed hopefully plus I have been busy trying to get the garden straight what with all my plants for hanging baskets etc, almost there though.

Hopefully next week I should have something to show you as I still have that be batch of crimbo cards but would hopefully like to try and do the Crafts and Me challenge as I did not manage to fit that in last week.  So until next time, do take care and happy crafting, lol

Happy Easter To All - 6 crimbo cards

Happy Easter Folks,

Hope this finds you are well and having a lovely time.  I know, I known, xmas cards but its the first 6 of the batch that I have been working on. 

I have used white card stock to make the square cards, 2 different coloured card stocks per card, 2 different patterned papers per card, lace, gem stones, fbrads, sentiments, Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Snowflakes, Spellbinders Die Cut Snowflakes, Spectrum Noir Pens and of course the lovely image from Crafts and Me called Follow Me.

Do have a great Easter but dont eat too much chocolate, hahaha!  Until next time, take care of yourselves and happy crafting, lol

Crafts and Me Week 77 Elegant Fairies Challenge

Hello Folks,

What a glorious week it has been too and now the weather folks are talking about snow again!  What is going on please, I know we need some rain but snow no thank you, been there done that had enough thanks very much!

Thats the ranting over for the week, hahahaha.  I know I have been promising more for a few weeks now but I have got so much on the go I dont know where to start as I have 25 cards at the stage of 90% completely and another 26 at the stage of 5% completely, plus a list of others to start but I will get there all in good time.

Well I did set aside some time for this week's lovely Crafts and Me challenge called Elegant Fairies which I had great fun in doing, did have a few mishaps colouring in as the ink leaked over the lines but only notices up close luckily.  i have used white card stock to make the square card, Love letters patterned papers x 3 Lace, Flowers, Pearls, Bazzill Basics Burgundy card stock, Bazzill Basics Pale White/Pink card stock, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 175, 15, 42, 48, 38, 1, 3, 11, 135, 137, 147, 88 and of course the lovely image called Belladonna from Crafts and Me.

Crafts and Me Week 76 Light, Airy Spring Colours Challenge

Hi Folks,

What a lovely week it has been so far, well it has gone to my head so much that I have not been able to get myself motivated.  I love spring and find such great pleasure in it as I love to watch the birds that come into my garden, no wonder I have not managed to do much crafting, hahaha!

I have managed to get one card done and others are at the early stages as I really must get a move on otherwise I will end up so behind if I am not careful especially as I will soon have all those plants to pot and basket up!

Well as it was a pastel challenge plus I wanted to have a play around with shapes to see what I could come up with so I have used white card stock to make the square card, Summer Breeze patterned papers x 4, Coredinations Cappuccino, Bazzill Basics Cream Blind, lace, flowers, pearls, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders scalloped circles diecuts, Spellbinders scalloped ovals diecuts, Spellbinders oval diecuts, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 13, 133, 142, 196, 0, 11, 175, 104, 100, 96, 171, 178, 68, 137, 147, 88 and a lovely rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Believe.

Crafts and Me Week 75 Let's See Circles Challenge

Hi Folks,

Sorry a bit late in the week for me but been sorry busy with the garden that I got side tracked there.

I must say I really enjoyed this one, got the ole gray cells working but I have wondered if I should have coloured the dress in lime green rather than pink but never mind always having to doubt myself, the layout I see another crafter using and thought it to be a great idea and decided to give it a go just adapted it a little.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Love Letters patterned papers x 3, Coredinations Burgundy card stock, Coredinations Sugar N Spice card stock, Lace, flowers, pearls, sentiments, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders scalloped circles, Spellbinders floral diecuts, gold bobbin pins Spectrum Noir pens numbers132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 175, 11, 144, 11, 3, 1, 137, 147, 88 and course a lovely new image from Crafts and Me called The Scarlet Sofa.

Crafts and Me Week 74 Things with Wings Challenge

Yes its Friday again, whoopee and well I have got several crafting items on the go at the mo but this is the only one that I have finished.  Mind you it has given me a really hard time, just could not get the colours right, so its seems I have lost my mojo and decided a few days break will do me a bit of good.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Bazzill Basics Brown card stock, Coredinations Beech card stock, Wild Rose Studio - Letters from Paris patterned papers x 2, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 120, 0, 109, 135, 183, 175, 11, CG9, 48, 163, 104, 100, 96, 88, lace, flowers, pearls, Cuttlebug, Marianne D Swirls diecut and of course the lovely new image from Crafts and Me called Angel with emeralds.

Crafts and Me Week 73 Pretty In Lace Challenge

Hi Folks,

Weather is certainly different here today, really overcast, had hope we would see a little more sunshine especially as its coming up to the weekend, oh well never mind.

Well I thought yesterday that I would try and get the next Crafts and Me challenge and decided as I have plenty of birthday cards to make it would be one of these with one of their gorgeous new images.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Coredination Vanilla Cream card stock, Bazzill Basics dark coloured card stock, Bo Bunny Garielle collection x 2 patterned papers, Lace, flowers, pearls, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 0, 175, 11, 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 137, 147, 88 and the lovely new rubber stamp called Veil.  I rather pleased with this one as I was not certainly about the dark coloured card stock, when I was trying to match the patterned papers up I though it looked rather pretty with this colour but as I progressed into making it was not really sure but am happy with the overall effect.
