Calendar for My Hubbie

Hello Folks,

Yes I know its Sunday evening and I normally dont post or do any crafting over the weekend, but I managed to squeeze in a little bit of time to finish this one calendar and thought I would quickly pop on to show you all.

I have used 7 sheets of white card stock, 6 for the calendar section which I had already set up on my pc but with lots of info on for myself and all I had to do with remove the info ie birthdays etc relevant to me as this is a gift for my lovely hubbie who looks after me so well. Once I had got all that sorted I just had to print them out, 2 months per sheet which I then cut in half down the middle to separate the months, hole punch, add lines so hubbie could write on it, add circular clips. The second sheet cut into 2 and cut them into square sizes, add together to make it thicker, hole punch for top and bottom, add month sheets to bottom, add circular clips to top with gold thick thread. I have then used deep green card stock, cream bling card stock, deep green patterned paper, white with green patterns paper, green organza ribbon, gem stones, sentiments, Spectrum Noir pens and a lovely fishing rubber stamp as my hubbie is an all round fisherman to complete the calender.

I am rather pleased with the outcome and so is my hubbie who has just received this gift which he had kindly mentioned he would like to receive. So until next time do take care and happy crafting, lol

Week 46 Anything Goes Challenge

Hi Folks,

Thought I would finish this week with having a go at this challenge and I found a layout that I wanted to give another go to as I was unhappy with the one I tried for this previously and have added up making 2 cards.

I have used white card stock to make square cards, card coloured cards stocks per card, three patterned papers per card, one ribbon per card, sentiments, flowers, glitter, cuttlebug, swirls die cut, brad and the lovely digi image called May.

Yet again I cant not chose between them and maybe you could let me know which you prefer, until next time, do take care, have a great weekend, happy crafting, lol

Week 45 Challenge - Ribbon inspired by Creative Coops

Hi Folks,

I decided that this challenge I would use a layout that inspired me so much by another crafter called Creative Coops but sadly I could not do it justice but I tried my best.

I have made 2 cards I can not decide which is best, I suppose each to their own. I have used white card stock to make the square cards, 3 patterned papers per card, 2 coloured card stocks per card, ribbon, cuttlebug, embossing folder swiss dots that I so love, flowers, gem stones, sentiments, card candy and a lovely rubber stamped image called Bat Wings and Boots, what a fab image it is too.

Perhaps folks you could tell me which one is best as I got a bit frustrated with these especially the pink one as part of it stuck sky whiff which is rather annoying but then is it more the stripes and spots with my eye sight, I just dont know.

Anyway until next time, do take care of yourselves, happy crafting, lol

Hi Everyone,

Well back to normal again, well thats the car that is thank god! My back is better than it was just have to not do too much, hehehehe!

Not really been that nice here so I decided I would make a couple of quick cards. I have used white card stock to make the square cards, red card stock for both, cream card stock for both, one patterned paper for each, red ribbon with gold edging for both to make the bow, 3 various sized hole punches to make the flowers, sentiments, gem stones and 2 lovely digi images.

Well until next time, do take care and happy crafting, lol
