Crafts and Me Winter Wonderland Challenge

Hi Folks,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, hope you enjoy the season and take care of yourselves.

I have made this card using white card stock to make the square card, Christmas patterned paper, Coredinations Bahama Blue card stock, White card stock, Lace, Gem Stones, Sentiments, X Cut Corner Punch, Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder Swiss Dots, Spellbinders Floral Diecut, Spellbinders Snowflake Diecut, Brad, 3D Foam Pads, Spectrum Noir Pens numbers FS2, FS3, TN2, PP1, 0, TN6, GB10, GB8, FS6, JG1, JG2, JG3, IG2, EB8, EB5, TN8, BG1, BG5, EB2 and of course the lovely rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Follow Me.

Well thats it for now, maybe I will have another card for this challenge before the New Year but am not sure yet otherwise it will be in the New Year, so until then do take care of yourselves as well as enjoy it, lol

Crafts and Me Week 114 Why So Blue? - No Blues Allowed Challenge

Hope you all are keeping well and warm, sometimes I wonder if I am meant to be one of those creatures that hibernate this time of year!

 

Well to take my mind of the bitter cold out there I decided to have a go at the current Crafts and Me challenge.  I have used white card stock to make the square card, Spring Feast patterned papers x 2, Coredinations Forest card stock, Bazzill Basics Vanilla card stock, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 135, 37, 35, 33, 24, 48, 175, 163, Flowers, Pearls, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Floral Diecuts and of course the lovely rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Belladonna.  I have kept it rather basic but sentiments are to be added at a later date down the left hand side.

Was not certain if I was joining in this one as have not been very well, that blasted winter flu virus, yuck , hope you all manage to avoid it as its nasty!

* Crafts and Me Week 111 Circles Challenge - Update Top 3

Hello Folks,

And what a gorgeous day it is out there after all that rain and wind yesterday its nice to see a bit of sunshine.

Well for this week's challenge I could not resist using my favourite colours of purple and lilac and with this I have used white card stock to make the square card, Daydream patterned paper x 3, Bazzill Basics Deep Purplem, Bazzill Basics Light Purple, Ribbon, Gemstones, Flowers, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Scalloped Circles Diecut, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 146, 84, 83, 175, 3, 183, GB11, 42, 43, 51, 109 and of course a lovely new rubber stamped imaged from Crafts and Me called Have Some Champagne.

When I started this I had decided that the circles part would be the Scalloped Circles diecuts, had not intentionally used patterned papers with circle images on it just noticed it after putting the finishing touches to the card, so am even more pleased.

Crafts and Me Week 110 Untraditional Christmas Colours Update Top 3

Hello Folks,

Well as the current Crafts and Me Challenge is untraditional Christmas colours, I have chosen browns, also an image thats no truly a Christmas image but thought as it was a fairy and many of use have a fairy on our Christmas trees it would be ideal.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Paper Co Studio Autumn Harvest Leafy Stripe Double sided patterned paper but only one side as the other was gold and was not keen on that, Bazzill Basics Pinecone card stock, Coredinations Beach card stock, Lace, Flowers, Silver Glitter, Gem stones, Sentiments, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Floral Diecut, Foam Pads to make it 3D, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 3, 144, EB3, EB4, EB6, 48, 175, 163 and of course one of the lovely new rubber stamped images from Crafts and Me called Fairy In My Window.

Crafts and Me Week 108 Bling It Up

Hi Folks,

Been one of those weeks where everything seems to go wrong, my phone line went dead, to get it back I had to keep phoning it using my mobile every so often but it was so crackly it was not really worth it and of course it made me internet drop out, grrrrrr.  Have finally got it back today but things are very, very slow for some reason.  I hate it without my internet, drives me nuts. 

Moaning over with, managed it get on the internet yesterday long enough to find out what the current challenge is for Crafts and Me and decided to play with it yesterday, a good way to take my mind of the frustation.

While I was making this card a thought went through my mind about the glitter and it kept on poking up about Jack Frost at this time of year, so thought I would use that with this card by sprinkling glitter all over the stamped image to give it that look and feel.  I have used white card stock to make the square card,  Summer Breeze patterned papers x 4, Bazzill Basics Great Lakes card stock, Bazzill Basics Lillywhite card stock, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 43, 109, 48, 175, 163, 35, 33, 24, Pearls, Sentiments, Flowers, Pearl Hat Bobbin Pins, Silver Glitter and of course the lovely rubber stamped image called Foxglove.

2 Male Birthday Cards

Altered Art - Goth Steampunk Hat

Hi Folks,

Well its back to normal land again now my hols is over, went so quickly but luckily enough I managed to buy some crafting bits and pieces while I was away so I could alter this hat.

I purchased a coachman hat from a steampunk/goth shop, removed the feathers but left the thick black ribbon and pearl bobbin pin, added some deep purple ribbon with a silver square ribbon slider which I glued on some deep purple gems, added some purple feathers with clear crystal gem stone bobbin pins and two purple bobbin pins. I am not sure if I should put a couple of metal charms on the other side of the hat yet but need to add a little padding inside the hat as even though its small its still slightly too big for me.

Please Don't Let It Fly - Anniversary Card

Hope this finds you all well, sorry have not much to show you but do have a lot of cards started, had hoped to get a few finished but really have not been myself since last week.  Poorly tooth and gum, just what I needed as I am due for my usual 2 weeks break but was lucky to get an emergency dental appointment, mind you am £48 pounds lighter really lucky though that it was just a filling which had broken way from the inside of the tooth, all fixed now just rather sore now.

This card was a bit of a rush job as I thought I had made a couple of anniversary cards for me and hubbie as its next week - our 14th, but when I looked I only had one, ooooppps not good!

Fuchsia and Clemantis Cards

Just a couple of cards that I have been working on this week, still have a few more in the process but that will be next week now.

The first one I tried was the one with the fuchsias on, I have used white card stock to make the square card, Lover Letters Pattern Paper x 1, Coredinations Burgundy Card stock, Bazzill Basics Lilywhite card stock, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 48, 175, 163, 11, 3, 1, 0, 109, 37, black, lace, flowers, gem stones, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Floral Diecut and of course the rubber stamp of fuchsias, sadly did not turn out quite the way I had planned, basically was the colouring in that did not go right but never mind.

Crafts and Me Week 94 Anything Goes Challenge

Finally got there with this one, my mojo is playing about but I think its because I need me hols which is now very soon, just cant wait especially as we did not get a break last year but never mind nearly there now.

I had in mind playing with lots of patterned papers but it was not as easy as I thought it would be because I decided to use the full image which I do so love.  I have used white card stock to make the square card, Love Letters patterned paper x 4, Coredination Concerto card stock, Coredinations Burgundy card stock, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 1, 3, 11, 169, 88, 147, 137, 135, Lace, Flowers, Pearls, Ribbon, Flower Brad Ribbon Slider and of course a lovely rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Belladonna.

5 Mini Easel Calendar Cards

Hi Folks,

I have 5 mini easel calendar cards to show you today, they are just over half the standard size.  I have used white card stock to make the easel cards, Black card stock, White card stock, 2 patterned papers per easel card, 1 ribbon, sentiments, gem stones, pictures, foam pads and calendars printed from network.

I have spent the last couple of days working on these and thought it would be much better having them this size.

Crafts and Me Week 91 1,2,3 Challenge

Well Good Morning Folks,

We have rain here today which we have needed as it has been so muggy all week and its cooled down a bit now lucky enough.

I decided to try to two cards for this challenge and hoped I would be able to choose between them but have been unable to do that as I love them both for different reasons, so yet again I will leave it up to you to make a choice.  The challenge is 1 image, 2 papers, 3 embellishments (I have used lace, gems/pearls, flowers).

For the 1st one I have used white card stock to make the square care, Authentique - Glowing patterned papers x 2, Coredinations Nightfall, Coredinations Pale Orange, Spectrum Noir Pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 0, 175, 104, 100, 196, 35, 33, 24, WG9, WG7, WG5, CG0.5, CG1, CG3, lace, flowers, pearls, foam pads and of course the lovely rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Night Blossom with a little silver glitter on her wings.

For the 2nd one I have used white card stock to make the square card, Kaiser Craft Dancing Jewel, Topaz and Amethyst patterned papers, Bazzill Basics Deep purple card stock, Bazzill Basics White card stock, Spectrum Noir Pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 0, 175, 5, 104, 100, 196, 83, lace, flowers, gems, foam pads and of course the lovely rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Veil.

Crafts and Me Week 90 Birthdays

Well Good Morning Folks,

A dull overcast one it is but at least its not raining at the moment!  I can not believe its July already, when has the time gone!

I thought for this challenge I would strictly keep it as basic as possible but by doing this I found it rather a difficult one because of I wanted it to be striking in colours as its such a gorgeous image but I have managed to finally complete it though not sure if it works though.

Batches 3,4, and 5 of Crimbo Cards

Good day Folks,

And its a busy one, lots going on but am trying to rest up now as my eye has managed to get that infection again, its seems to be a combination of hayfever/allergy and stress but lucky enough I managed to buy some eyes drops for it at the weekend as I could take no more of it which means I am now on the way to recovery yes.

Luckily enough these cards was at least 3 quarters done by the time it became really painful.  I have kept to the same layout as before make easier when you wish to make lots.  I have used white card stock to make the square cards, coloured card stock, white card stock, Christmas patterned papers, ribbon, sentiments (well some as I have run out, must buy some more) ,Foam Pads, Spectrum Noir pens, Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder Swiss Dots, Brads, Spellbinders Floral Diecut, Spellbinders Snowflakes Diecut and of course some lovely rubber stamped images of various styles and companies just to add variety.

Batch 2 of 5 Crimbo Cards

Hello Folks,

I thought I would pop in early to upload this batch that I finished last night, my second batch out of the batch of 5 Crimbo Cards, on a roll here, hehehe.

I have used the same layout for all 5 batches, I have used white card stock to make the square cards, coloured card stock, white card stock, Christmas patterned papers, X-Cut Corner Punch, Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder Swiss Dots, Spellbinders Floral Diecut, Spellbinders Snowflakes Diecut, Brad, Sentiments, Ribbon, Spectrum Noir Pens, and of course 2 lovely rubber stamped images from Crafts and Me called Belladonna and Clematis, yes I know they are not Christmas images but thought they would work well if used with green and red to give them more of a Christmas feel.

What a glorious day it is too, I have been so busy what with doing the Order of Services for my Niece over the weekend etc I have finally got round to my big batch of 30 crimbo cards again even though I still feel a bit washed out after all that work for my niece.
