Crafts and Me Week 75 Let's See Circles Challenge

Hi Folks,

Sorry a bit late in the week for me but been sorry busy with the garden that I got side tracked there.

I must say I really enjoyed this one, got the ole gray cells working but I have wondered if I should have coloured the dress in lime green rather than pink but never mind always having to doubt myself, the layout I see another crafter using and thought it to be a great idea and decided to give it a go just adapted it a little.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Love Letters patterned papers x 3, Coredinations Burgundy card stock, Coredinations Sugar N Spice card stock, Lace, flowers, pearls, sentiments, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders scalloped circles, Spellbinders floral diecuts, gold bobbin pins Spectrum Noir pens numbers132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 175, 11, 144, 11, 3, 1, 137, 147, 88 and course a lovely new image from Crafts and Me called The Scarlet Sofa.

Crafts and Me Week 74 Things with Wings Challenge

Hello Folks,

Yes its Friday again, whoopee and well I have got several crafting items on the go at the mo but this is the only one that I have finished.  Mind you it has given me a really hard time, just could not get the colours right, so its seems I have lost my mojo and decided a few days break will do me a bit of good.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Bazzill Basics Brown card stock, Coredinations Beech card stock, Wild Rose Studio - Letters from Paris patterned papers x 2, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 120, 0, 109, 135, 183, 175, 11, CG9, 48, 163, 104, 100, 96, 88, lace, flowers, pearls, Cuttlebug, Marianne D Swirls diecut and of course the lovely new image from Crafts and Me called Angel with emeralds.

Crafts and Me Week 73 Pretty In Lace Challenge

Hi Folks,

Weather is certainly different here today, really overcast, had hope we would see a little more sunshine especially as its coming up to the weekend, oh well never mind.

Well I thought yesterday that I would try and get the next Crafts and Me challenge and decided as I have plenty of birthday cards to make it would be one of these with one of their gorgeous new images.

I have used white card stock to make the square card, Coredination Vanilla Cream card stock, Bazzill Basics dark coloured card stock, Bo Bunny Garielle collection x 2 patterned papers, Lace, flowers, pearls, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 0, 175, 11, 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 137, 147, 88 and the lovely new rubber stamp called Veil.  I rather pleased with this one as I was not certainly about the dark coloured card stock, when I was trying to match the patterned papers up I though it looked rather pretty with this colour but as I progressed into making it was not really sure but am happy with the overall effect.

Crafts and Me Week 72 Shades of Spring Challenge

Well Hi Folks,

Not a bad few days here weather wise which is a nice change, have been enjoying the sunshine even if still a little chilly outside.  Certainly has the feel of spring and so is the Crafts and Me current challenge all about spring.  For me spring makes me think of the first grass cut, daffodils, tulips, lambs and the birds singing loudly as they go about their business of finding a mate and making a nest for their young.

So with that in mind the richness of colour is vibrant and have choosen this in my card for this challenge.  I have used white card stock to make the square card, Coredinations Raspberry coloured card stock, Coredinations Vanilla Cream coloured card stock, Crate Portrait Collection x 2 patterned papers, Lace, flowers, pearls, 2 gold hat bobbin pins, senitments, Spectrum Noir Pens numbers 0, 109, 120, 169, 183, 175, 43, 33, 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 12, 14, 15, Gold glitter for the mask, Silver glitter for her hair and of course a lovely new rubber stamped image from Crafts and Me called Marie Masquerade which I do so love.

Hi Folks,

Just one thing to show you today and thats these lovely gift boxes which I made for Easter. 

As my nephew's and nieces are all grown up I still like to give them a little something for Easter and I came across an old crafting magazine the other day with the template and information on how to make these (you will find I made something similar from this template which you will find on my blog in the spring of 2010 I believe including template).

I used my printer to scan the template and print off on white card stock, one coloured card stock for each box, then spare white card stock for the inner part of the coloured sides, cuttlebug, embossing folder hearts, coloured pen for the hearts to make them stand out more and ribbons.

All I have to do now is fill these with mini eggs and re tie the ribbons trimming them down to size and shape.

6 Easter Cards

Hi Folks,

Sorry this is a bit late, but having problems this week. I normally do the Crafts and Me Challenge but well the last one was all about distressing and thats something I dont know how to do but will have to find some info on this for future.

Well as I have not done this challenge I thought I would play catch up as I have got a bit behind in my crafting due to eye troubles.

I have used white card stock to make the square cards, 2 sets of patterned papers per card, 2 sets of coloured card stock per card, gem stones/pearls, flowers, sentiments, lace cuttlebug, embossing folder hearts, Spectrum Noir pens and of course some lovely rubber stamped images that are either Easter based or have chicks in them.

3 Male Birthday Cards

Hello Everyone,

Hope this finds you all well, feeling much better today with my eyes, the drops are working, yeah!  This has given me chance to finish these 3 male birthday cards off.

I have used white card stock to make the square cards, Green card stock for one card, Brown card stock for the other two cards, white card stock for all 3 cards, ribbons, gems, sentiments, Spectrum Noir pens for colouring the image in and of course the wooden rubber stamp Ye Ole Fishin Hole, lucky enough all 3 men are fisherman and the image is quite a laugh when you look close enough.
