Crafts and Me Week 85 Flowers Challenge

Hello Folks,

Its another fine day, love to see the sunshine after all that rain in April and what a fab idea this week's challenge is for this time of year, flowers and I do so love flowers especially in the garden.

Well I have decided to use my fav colours too black, purple and lilac.  I have used white card to make the square card, Desert Blooms patterned papers x 3 (one of which has flowers on it), Coredinations Royal Orchid card stock, Coredinations Beach card stock, purple decorative Hatpins, flowers, lace, gem stones, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 0, 144, 175, 11, 120, 147, 88, 186 and of course one of the lovely new Crafts and Me rubber stamped images called Watching It Fly.  I have chosen to colour the lady's hair in black and purple which I would love to do to my hair but well I have tried black and what a nightmare, more like the walking dead so I will just have to dream.

Thats it for now folks, until next time do take care and happy crafting, lol

Crafts and Me Week No 84 Pearls and Lace Challenge (Dedicated to my Dad)

Hello Folks,

Been busy this week preparing another big batch of crimbo cards but they can wait as am about half way through with them.

Not a good day really for me as its 11 years ago today that my wonderful dad passed away, not that any day is easy as I miss him so much and so I lit a candle for him and thought the best way for me to deal with this is by concentrating on making a card for the challenge.

It seems to have come out well and has helped me get through the day, so it was obviously the best choice.  I have used white card stock to make the square card, Bazzill Basics Mid Blue Bling card stock, Bazzill Basics Creamy White card stock, Lace, Pearls, Summer Breeze patterned papers X 4, Crafts and Me  - Sweet Peat Rubber stamped image called Veil, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 104, 100, 96, 0, 175, 11, 144, 185, 183, Cuttlebug and Spellbinders stems diecut.

I am rather pleased with this as I tried to make it remain quite delicate still with a vibrant feel to it, blue is the mood for me but it suits the image too.

Well thats it for me folks, so until next time, do take care and happy crafting, lol

Crafts and Me Week 83 Punches and Die Cuts Challenge

Yeah its Friday folks,

And the sun is out here, yes, yes, yes after all that rain my poor wisteria flowers need a bit of sunshine now.  I would have uploaded this yesterday lunch time but well I had a mishap, I managed to knock my full glass of squash all over this challenge and had to start again let alone clear the mess up!

I decided I would do this challenge with something special in mind as have not long again received our invite to a wedding in July I thought I would do this, yes I know I have already made the wedding day card as its my niece but I did not want to do that as a challenge.  I have used white card stock to make the square card, Bazzill Basics Orange Bling card stock, Coredinations Vanilla Cream Card stock, Desert Blooms patterned papers x 3, gem stones, flowers, gold decorative hat pins, Whiff of Joy rubber stamped image called Wedding Carriage, Spectrum Noir pens numbers 132, 133, 142, 196, 0, 104, 100, 96, 175,48, CG5, 168,135,109, X-Cut Corner punch, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Scalloped Circles diecut, Marianne D Swirls diecut, foam pads to make patterned paper stand up plus for the scalloped circle to stand up even more.  I would have loved to use a Crafts and Me image for this but only have the Church one which I have used for the wedding day card and wished to use something different for this.

Well thats it for me this week folks, so until next time, do take care and happy crafting, lol

Hi Folks,

As promised I am back with a card that was inspired by another fab crafter called Creative Coops, design/layout as all her idea which I have adapted slightly after mentioning to her that I would love to give it a go.

I have used Coredinations Fuchsia Fizz card stock, white card stock, pearls, sentiments, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Oval diecut, Spellbinders Scalloped Oval diecut, swirly leaf storks diecut, digital church image, foam pads for 3D effect and of course patterned paper called love letters.

I am rather pleased with the effect thanks to to Creative Coops my niece will have a lovely wedding day card and so that is it for now folks, until next time do take care and happy crafting, lol

Nephew's Birthday Card

Hi Folks,

Back again and I will be back again shortly with a wedding card.

As you can see I have stuck to a basic layout, its just so hard to make a card for a male unless they have any particular hobbies.

So I have used white card stock to make a square card, dark blue card stock, white card stock, 2 blue patterned paers, ribbon, gems, flowers, button, sentiments and of course the lovely little boy dozing image coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.

See you shortly, lol

Hi Folks,

Well I have finally finished the current batch of crimbo cards, yeah, still have another batch to start but will get there at some point as I still have a few birthday cards and wedding cards to do.

I have continued using the same layout as before which I have found the best idea especially for a lot of cards to be done in one go.

Thats it for now as I must get back to a couple of other cards that I must finish before too late, happy crafting and do take care, lol
