12 Xmas Cards +1 Get Well Card + 1 Wallet Card

Well Folks,

I have finally finished a batch of xmas cards, but dont worry I will only upload 4 of my favs. Its such a hectic time at the mo, what with the crafting, gardening and yesterday the shock news that my father in law had a heart attack, so this is the end of the crafting for this week.

I have used white card stock to make square cards, various backing papers, various co ordinating card stocks, ribbons, gems, buttons, flowers, sentiments and two lovely new images. One image is a Whimsy by Crissy Armstrong called Cool Ride & Accessories and the other is a Kraftin' Kimme by Crissy Armstrong (Cuties) called Tree Fairy.

I do hope you like these and hopefully I will be back again next week if all goes well, until then do take care and happy crafting, lol

Flower Baskets for Easter

Hello Folks,

I know I have not posted for a while but have been extremely busy, bit like a headless chicken really, not sure which way is up. I am making lots of Christmas cards and I thought for a change a would make a couple of Easter Gifts to put some little eggs into for the girls.

I have used white card stock for the main boxes, green card stock, lilac card stock, cuttlebug with embossing folder of flowers, templates, gem stones and lilac copic pen for colouring flowers.

Using the template provided cut the box from one sheet of A4(white card stock), score the fold lines using a fine embossing tool, fold with the pencilled lines inside and glue the side flap in place. Close the lid to form the box shap. Turn upside down and glue the base onto the flaps - its a good idea to open the box and, using the end of a ruler, apply a small amount of pressure to the base flaps whilst the glue is wet.

From another sheet of card (lilac card stock) cut four of the smaller side panels, one 45mm square, two large and one small flower and a 15mm wide x 230 mm long strip (for the handle).
From another sheet of card (green card stock) cut four large panel mounts, one 50mm square mount, a few leaves and a 3mm wide x 230mm long strip (for handle).

Side and top panels: stamp onto each lilac panel or cuttlebug emboss and colour, attach to corresponding green mounts, then glue one panel to each of the box sides and lid.
Attach green strip to centre of lilac strip for handle. Cut a slit in the two box side flaps (close to the fold), feed the handle through and fix to the inside box sides. make sure the handle is high enough for the box lid to open under it.

Ink the petal edges of the flowers, score and curl to dimension them and add a gem to the centre. Arrange and glue the flowers and leaves to the box lid.
I do hope this is something you like and might have a try at and until next time, do take care and happy crafting.

Phew what a busy Week I must say!

Well Hi Folks,

Sorry not posted before but had such a busy week dont know where I am.
I started out in the garden at the weekend with my hubbie pruning all the roses, wisteria's etc, feeding them well rotten manure and then jet washing the patio's and decking down (still have the pots to move around but that will be when hubbie is around again). Then on Monday I started in the greenhouse, well the previous weekend my hubbie kindly rebubble wrapped the greenhouse as the other stuff had been in there 3 years and was rather tatty. I have spent many, many hours out there this week trying to catch up as I was at least a month behind with my seeding, but at last I can say I have got up to date in there and all is planted, tidied up etc.
I have also managed to make 7 cards, 4 christmas cards, 2 birthday cards and 1 easter card all using the LMC No 87 layout which I do adore. I will only upload 3 cards, we dont what to keep looking at christmas cards now do we!

The first one is an easter card, I have used white card stock to make a square card, two co ordinating backing papers, lilac card stock, white card stock, 1 ribbon, flowers, gem stones, sentiments and a lovely messy rabbit image which I have been given by another lovely crafting friend.

The second one is a birthday card, I have used white card stock to make a square card, two co ordinating backing papers, pink card stock, black card stock, 1 ribbon, flowers, gem stones, brads, sentiments and a lovely stamped image which I am afraid I do not know the name or make of sadly which I have been given by another lovely crafting friend.

The third and final one is a birthday card, I have used white card stock to make a square card, two co ordinating backing papers, pink card stock, black card stock, 1 ribbon, flowers, gem stones, brads, sentiments and a lovely stamped image by Sugar Nellie (Leanne Ellis I believe) which I have been given by another lovely crafting friend.

I do so hope you like these as I am most pleased with them especially the Sugar Nellie one and until next time, do take care and happy crafting, lol

Easel Calendar Cards

Hello Again Folks,

Here's what I have been doing today, 6 Easel Calendar Cards which are for Christmas pressies, yes I have started them early. I have been lucky to receive one of these myself at Christmas time, so that's how I worked them out.

I have used white card stock for the main part, 2 matching backing papers, corner peel offs, cat picture with saying, butterfly and oblong shaped gem stone for body, also will need to add small calendar when purchased these.

Firstly I have taken white card stock, measured 26cm across x 13cm down, cut out and folded 26cm in half and then taken one side on folded that in half (A,top edge in to centre).

Then taken white card stock, measured 13cm x 13cm, cut out and stuck base to of A so when layed all folded up flat all 3 equal squares sit on top of one another.

Then I have measured and cut a little bit smaller square out of both backing papers and stick one on the bottom inside flap and the other to the top outside flap.

Decorate top flap as wish and finally add calendar to middle of bottom inside flap which is how it holds open (base of top flap sits behind the calendar top).

I hope this gives you some ideas and I look forward to viewing more of your ideas, until next time, do take care and happy crafting, lol
