Beginnings - About me

Hi Folks,

I am just getting started into blogging and to explain, well for 21 years I worked for the same company just under different names and to cut a long story short I found the pressure to much in the end and had to retire early.

So, what to do to fill my days and help out in the home I decided to have a go at crafting, so I have now been making cards to just under 3 years and have many card making friends who also have blogs. One of my friends sets challenges on a card making site buy giving us a layout/desigin and we make a card/scrapbook page etc to follow it. I use these for all sorts of reasons such as birthdays and christmas, this way I do not have to buy anthing but the bits and bobs to make them.

I have also now tried my hand at calender making as well as candle stamping as have got addicted to Rubber Stamping. I thought this would be a great idea for gifts such as at Christmas, it cuts the cost, saves on hunting for ideas and is more personal. So I am just showing a few of my cards to get started.
